Works great and unlocks great features,
the wifi logging stick unlocks a lot more ease of getting data from the inverter, it means I can remotely see battery storage, power being used, power exported, and solar un graphs and numbers on a easy to use phone app, the set up can be a little buggy but once done its simple and reliable, also get notified of any errors, Really good addition to my system, ITS have been good on service as well thank you

So far, the G3 datalogger is delivered but not installed. Installation of the Solar PV is complete but did not include the Wifi monitoring option. However, the Solar PV system was delivered and installed at no cost to me so after some research I ordered the datalogger intending to install it myself. The Solis inverter is located in the roof space so access is not trivial (overalls and kneepads). The datalogger was delivered late afternoon, at the appointed time by DPD, and I fitted it to the inverter while the inverter was still operating. During the procedure, the inverter shut down due to the Solar PV stopped generating. At this point, the lights on the datalogger are OFF so I will have to wait until tomorrow and try again. The point of this review is to comment on the enclosed installation procedure, which is conditional on the inverter being in Operating mode, something the procedure fails to highlight. The procedure is also misleading at Step 4 (Browser Configuration) leading to the statement "return to APP" at Step 7 (I'm still in the app - if I return I'm redoing the configuration that I just did). However I acknowledge that it's hard to accommodate all smartphone software interfaces on a hard copy. I watched a Solis Europe video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RyjOH5-XK-4 which suggested a LAN configuration option at Step 4 so that the wireless hotspot of the datalogger can be paired with the home wifi. I'll update the review after completing installation.
