A triumph of excess packaging.
Seems to work fine - ignore internet instructions and follow the leaflet. Why a usb dongle needs packaging the size of 2 shoe boxes escapes me.

Mostly does the job
Does what it says on the tin with the annoying caveat that there is no way to talk to the device directly, so if you want to take your own readings you are limited to an API calling the Solax cloud service.
