CT Clamp Information
Most CT clamps will be supplied as split core to enable easier fitment. CT clamps must be rated to the maximum current of the cable they are monitoring. In most cases this is the rating (A) of the protective device. For best accuracy, CT clamps should be sized as close as possible to the rated supply and fit the cable/bus bar as tightly as possible.
