Well packaged and good instructions. Looks solidly built. Electrician fitted it (and he’d never heard of the technology let alone the model) in about 45 minutes, including drilling hole thro wall to reach meter tails. So far working as expected and advertised. Every two weeks I’ll take readings of electricity and oil use to gauge effectiveness cpd with previous clunky time switch on immersion to take advantage of pv surplus, inevitably drawing grid power to make up insufficiency in its need of 3kW.

Have had this for over six months. Works very well on cloudy days if not to thick. Have not used any gas or electric from the grid since end of May. Have enough hot water for bath most mornings and warms up again by lunch time. Brilliant.

Have had an electrician connect It to an old fashion storage heater (must not be modern digital one) and it works well. We have a combi boiler so could not use it for water heating. Just need more sunny weather!
